Organized by the “Penal Reform International -South Caucasus Office (PRI)” and “Prevention for Progress (PFP)”, a meeting of members of the “Penitentiary and Probation Reform Alliance” was held at the “Holiday Inn” hotel.

 At the meeting, the presentation of the research report carried out by PRI and PFP, which was related to “The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the legal status of prisoners and prison staff”, was presented. This study was partially based on a joint report by the PFP and the Public Defender, which was prepared with the funding of the Embassy of the Netherlands and published this year https://cutt.ly/HMMWWZA

A discussion was also held at the meeting on issues related to the penitentiary system and joint advocacy.
