Today, November 20, a meeting was held with the representatives of the local civil society in the “Center of democratic engagement of Marneuli”, organized by “Prevention for Progress (PFP)” and “Civil Engagement and Activism Center (CEAC)”.
At the meeting, they discussed the needs of young people and, in this direction, the strategy of joint advocacy, in order to implement changes in the budget project of Marneuli municipality.
In addition, there was a discussion on the creation of a coordination council of non-governmental organizations in the region and the initiative to hold the European Youth Days in 2023 in the city of Marneuli.
The project – “Youth of Marneuli for Change” is implemented by “Prevention for Progress (PFP)” together with “Civil Engagement and Activism Center (CEAC)”, with the financial support of “Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR)”, the project – “Strengthening resilience in the Eastern Neighborhood” (BREN)” framework.
