Short description
With the support of the War and Peace Reporting Institute and the British Embassy, the BREN (Building Resilience in the Eastern Neighborhood) project was implemented, which aims to strengthen civil society and women’s organizations in the Eastern Neighborhood, and to finance the non-governmental sector.
Within the framework of this project, the British Embassy and BREN supported the organizational strengthening and stable development of PFP, both at the national level and at the regional level. The communication direction of the organization was significantly improved.
A new communications strategy was defined and steps were taken to increase the awareness of the organization. As a result, the awareness of the organization has increased, both for donor organizations and for other interested persons/organizations. This will enable us to work more effectively to achieve organizational goals and objectives.In terms of developing the direction of civil activism, training was conducted to strengthen the PFP youth team and improve their coordination with other activist groups.
An important step was taken in the direction of strengthening regional ties within the framework of the Eastern Partnership. We visited Armenia, where a conference on education and youth was held with the participation of local non-governmental and governmental organizations. In addition, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the Armenian non-governmental organization – Frontline Youth Network (FYN).
The representatives of the organization took part in the regional conference held in Moldova, through which they further deepened the relationship with the non-governmental sector operating in the region. PFP updated the organizational management manual, improved the cyber security system and developed a communications and strategic planning campaign, which should contribute to strengthening the organization’s activities and facilitating the implementation of projects in regions inhabited by minorities (Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe Javakheti).BREN sets a rare precedent by promoting the institutional development of the NGO sector and better coping with day-to-day challenges.
