Achievements:
Desk review/mapping of the existing data collection systems related to children in the justice system in Georgia; Recommendations for the development of the “concept” related to the setting up of a comprehensive data collection system in the criminal justice system concerning children (including child victims and witnesses of crime, children in conflict with the law); Analysis of the Georgian legislative framework related to data protection issues concerning children in the criminal justice system, identify gaps and propose recommendations for further improvements; Draft amendments and new regulations for each involved agency to support operationalization of the new data collection system and to ensure data protection related to children in the justice system.
